The Integrity Scholarship Foundation, an organization established earlier this year, hosted its Integrity Awards Ceremony to honor East Texans who have impacted the community. A red carpet gala and awards ceremony was set at Caldwell Auditorium Saturday.
George Faber, Rev. Rodney Curry, Judge Quincy Beavers, Smith  County Commissioner JoAnn Hampton, Berry’s Fence Company, and Tyler Rose City Civitan are among those honored.
Integrity, charged with empowering individuals by promoting spiritual, educational and financial growth, awards scholarships to single parents who desire to further their education. Integrity also hosts workshops, provides programs and resources to anyone interested in personal development.
Founder Ambra Phillips said she understands the challenges of raising children while receiving an education, as she went back to college at age 25.
